Subject: Free Jason Fried speaking event

Hi Jim,

I have been working on getting a speaking event scheduled with Jason
Fried, co-founder and President of 37signals.   We were able to get
something finalized with him and since this is a free event for our
students and area business people he did not charge us a speaking fee
so we are passing that on to the Southern Wisconsin community.

The event is scheduled for this Wednesday (I know short notice, but in
an institution as large as MATC it takes a while to get things
finalized) September 24, 2008.  The event will be at the new Discovery
World downtown Miilwaukee between the Summerfest grounds and the Milw
Art Museum.  I hope you will help me get the word out to people you
may know in the Milw/Madison and surrounding communities so anyone
wanting to attend can do so.

I have attached a pdf handout that has links to the quick 4 ques.
online registration form, so people that receive the pdf as an
attachment will have both the registration link and the information
for the Live stream of the event, as well as an email address if they
would like to submit questions.

Thanks,
Vicky Hennegan

I work Wednesday's in Milwaukee and am going to attend this with some coworkers.  I think RoR gets more hype than it deserves, but 37signals does do some neat stuff.  It should be an interesting event and a good chance to network with some other web folks.
