FYI, the first Brew City Mongers (Milwaukee.pm) meeting will be held on February 21. Pass it along to all your friends over that way, and head over to the meetup. I might be headed there myself depending upon how my schedule shakes out.

Just wanted to let you know that we've scheduled our first meeting for
the Milwaukee Perl Mongers: Feb 21 at ~6:30 at the Corvisa Services
office (address here: http://corvisa.com/contact.html) Just a social
event for the first one so that we can get feedback on the recurring
date we'll pick. But hopefully the 3rd Thursday of the month will be
OK (chicago.pm seems to be on the 2nd Thursday of the month.)
We're working on getting a Meetup site started, Lee created a LinkedIn
group, and we are chatting away in #milwaukee-pm on irc.perl.org (come
on in!) Once the meetup site is done we'll start promoting like
crazy. We are also still waiting to hear back from the pm.org admins
(know anyone that you could prod for us?)
Thanks again for your suggestions so far. It's starting to feel real... :)
