We're going to have several lightening talks at this week's MadMongers.

Chris will share what he's learned about the Parrot Compiler Toolkit.

JT will share his experiences with the differences between the free Komodo Edit and the commercial Komodo IDE; as well as some insights about being a 10 year vim hacker and switching to a visual IDE.

And Andy will talk about something to be determined.

If anyone else has a talk they'd like to do whether it lasts 2 minutes or 20, please feel free to bring it with you to the meeting. Slides not required.

More parrot - how to help develop Perl 6 by smoke testing the
parrot/perl6 builds.  Plus you get your own, sort of working, perl6
interpreter when you're done. svn (probably), compiler (certainly) and
a few other tools required, but any linux box'll do and the more
variety, the better. Mac's work, though I believe I had a few things
to install first.  Winx is (as often) tougher, w/ needs like cygwin
(though some folks have succeeded w/ the MS-CC suite). But I'll give
what I can and show at least one run on my Mac.

Apologies, but I can't attend the meeting this month due to an unexpected business trip.  I'll save my PCT lightning talk for another time.
