Sorry I've been slacking off with the event calendar. So I decided to
update it and email everybody.
Our meeting on October 21 will feature Frank Dillon giving a talk on
YUI (developer.yahoo.com/yui) and Perl and how to use the combo to
create cool ajax applications. I'm sorry that I can't remember his
name (please don't hate me!), but one of our newer members has
volunteered to give us a rundown of the EPIC plugin for Eclipse that
turns Eclipse into a fully featured Perl IDE.
Then on November 18th, Doug Bell will be doing a talk on Apache and
mod_perl troubleshooting, which will include how to attach a debugger
to mod_perl processes.
We're still looking for talks for December and beyond. If anybody has
a topic they'd like to cover (even if it's only a 5 minute talk)
please let me know and I'll get you on the schedule. And if you'd like
to talk in November, Doug said he'd be happy to do the talk in
December instead to make room for others.
